25th September 2012
Windsurfing: Felixstowe dip
Wind Direction: S
Wind Stength: F5 up/down
Surf / Sea State: Bumpy choppy
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: OK
Weather: OK
Max Speed: 23.9 kts (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 14km (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Work stopped getting there b4 4. Several out with 5M +
so rigged 6.2M flat, and with the wind dropping used the JP slalom. The sea was crap, bumpy and confused with the odd swell. I missed low tide so I knew this wouldn't be my day. The wind dropped so bagged the sail and had a few runs, then was up again flattened it, pain in the *rse. I had vicious cramp trying to water start after 20 mins and my left leg gave up.
Darren was looping off some shaped swell, and most seemed to be going well - no kites on the rough water.
Switched to Mistral Synchro and flattened the sail again for another 15mins but my leg was now dead, so gave up. Didn't enjoy that session as my boom clamp rope slipped yet again, totally unlocking. 2nd week running, recover was another 5mins.
Packed up about 6.30 leaving Darren and Phil ripping in the semi dark. Evening sails are now getting difficult, but weather was mild. Didn't enjoy the sail much
